NEACHMM Chapter members are classified as either Certified Members or Affiliate
Members.

Eligibility and Rights of each membership classification are described below.

Certified Member - Any CHMM in good standing with the Institute of Hazardous Materials Managers (IHMM) shall be eligible to become a Certified Member of the Chapter.  A Certified member is entitled to vote for elective positions, changes to Chapter By-Laws, and Chapter dissolution.  Certified Members are also entitled to hold an elective or appointed office in the Chapter, receive official Chapter publications, attend and participate in Chapter meetings and activities, and any other rights determined by the Chapter Board of Directors.

Affiliate Member - Any person with a professional interest in the field of hazardous materials management who does not meet the definition of a Certified Member may become an Affiliate Member of the Chapter.  An Affiliate Member is entitled to vote for elective positions in the Chapter.  Affiliate Members are also entitled to hold an appointed Chapter position, receive official Chapter publications, attend and participate in Chapter meetings and activities, and any other rights the Chapter Board of Directors may determine (other than holding elective office and voting for changes in Chapter By-Laws and Chapter dissolution).

Annual NEACHMM Chapter dues are $50. Dues help offset the cost of meetings, mailings, and our Chapter website.
